Chapter 10

Nina

Her body was on fire. If she didn’t know better she’d think her house was going up in flames all around them.

There weren’t any flames, only Donovan. Donovan who absolutely knew what he was doing when it came to wooing a woman even if he claimed to have never done it before.

She believed him. Believed that for years he’d never actively tried to get women to like him. It wouldn't have mattered. He was a likable guy. At first glance, without knowing anything about him, a woman would have no problem liking him for his looks. Tall, athletic build with hair that always looked styled, even though she knew he didn’t put anything in it. His blue eyes were mesmerizing, especially if he was smiling or laughing.

Women would gravitate toward him on looks alone.

After meeting him, they’d stay because he was nice, friendly, helpful, engaging, funny and a slew of other things. Finding something to like about Donovan Stewart was not hard.

If they ever got to the point where he gave them orgasms, they’d never want him to leave.

And neither did she.

“Are you still with me?” He slid up her body until he was lying fully on top of her.

“I’m not sure. I think I had an out-of-body experience.”

“You and me both.” He kissed her gently and she could easily taste herself on his lips.

When he started to move away, she held on tight only for him to say, “I need to grab a condom. I’ll be right back, I promise.” He kissed her one last time before slipping from her embrace and sitting on the side of the bed.

He must have stashed a condom on her nightstand because he stayed where he was and his movements indicated that he was rolling it down his length. She wished like hell, she could watch.

Next time.

With more finesse than she’d ever have, he was back on top of her.

Sweeping the hair off her face, he studied her for several moments. “Tell me what you want.” His eyes had gone the deepest shade of blue she’d ever seen.

She smiled slowly. If he wanted her to talk, that would not be a problem. Talking was her favorite thing to do.

Lacing her arms behind his head, she pulled his face down, as close as possible to hers. “I want you to fuck me. Hard. I don’t want to be able to walk tomorrow.”

She could feel the tip of him at her entrance and wiggled her body to get him to move.

“What if we save that for next time. Right now,” he kissed her left cheek, then her right, “I want to make love to you.”

Oh hell, this man was going to break her. In a way that she never thought possible. “That...that could be good too.”

A smug smile curved up his lips. “Let’s shoot for great.” He slid inside her body one inch at a time. “Amazing.” His eyes closed for a quick second before popping back open. “Fucking stupendous,” he said on a groan.
